The Mission
Turbo Lag is not just another t-shirt brand. Turbo Lag has a Mission.
It all started with memories. Memories of hanging out with friends on a specific street corner in our town – it was our spot. A place where cool cars would cruise by, sometimes park, and everyone would gather. We'd chat, laugh, and just enjoy the vibe. It was awesome seeing all the different cars, people taking photos, the whole atmosphere felt like a big, casual family get-together. Sometimes, friends would arrive together, a whole line of cars pulling up – that was always a cool sight.
These moments, and others, stuck with me. Like the road trips we'd take, driving with friends to another city to meet up with more people from the same car crew. We'd hit car events together, talking about the latest modifications we were working on, and especially the never-ending repairs! Or just meeting up in a park on a weekend, parking our cool cars, and talking for hours. It was simple, fun, and all about the shared love for cars and friendship.
That's the feeling I want to bring to my brand. I don't just sell t-shirts, I want to revive that spirit of connection and build something bigger. My vision is to create events and, more importantly, an international community built by this brand.
To truly bring this community together internationally, I'm creating online spaces – perhaps on platforms like Reddit or Discord. These groups will be open to everyone who shares this passion for cars and driving, no matter where you are or what you drive. We'll organize spaces by region or country, making it easy for people to connect locally and globally. It will be a vibrant place to chat, share our stories, swap tips on modifications or repairs, recommend favorite spots to see cars or take photos, or simply find fellow enthusiasts to meet up with, just like we used to do in those parks and at events.
This is about creating a global family. No judgment, no prejudice – it doesn't matter what car you drive, expensive or not. What truly matters is your passion for driving and having fun with your car. That's the core of the community I want to build.
Imagine traveling somewhere new and wanting to discover the local car scene. With our community, you could hop into the group, connect with people from that area, find out about meetups or events, and instantly have friends to hang out with. My brand will be the bridge that connects enthusiasts worldwide.
